Chief Land and Survey Officer Department and CUC Section headed by the Additional Collector cadre officer. Department functions with the operational setup comprise of a team consisting of the Officers of DO level and Surveyors. Role of this department involve scrutinizing relevant records/ documents received from Planning NAINA Department and the landowners. Also, involves in taking and giving possession of land and follow up with Dy SLR for providing property card to the landowners in Town Planning Schemes. Department take possession of land from the Landowners for CIDCO land such as Growth centers, amenities, etc.
Controller of Unauthorized construction (CUC) section is full-fledged functional since 2018. The main role of this section is of controlling unauthorized constructions in NAINA area. The Controller of Unauthorized Constructions (CUC) Section deals with the action against unauthorized development/constructions in accordance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act 1966. This Section functions with the operational set up comprise of a team consisting of the Surveyors, security guards of MSF and security assistants headed by ACUC.
Surveyors frequently visits site for verification and identification of unauthorised structures and accordingly serve the notices to the owner of unauthorised structure and further initiate the action against such structures. The team rolls out on moving in the designated area of NAINA to police unauthorized constructions. As per Board policy and under MR&TP Act-1966, Surveyors, draftsman and ACUC are delegated officer.
