Marina and water front

CIDCO has proposed to construct the Marina Project at Sector- 11, 14 and 15, CBD Belapur wherein the well-equipped harbour will be developed on the lines of Kochi International harbour situated in Kerala. Of the total 5 acres of land, the Marina project will be developed on 3 acres of land and the waterfront will be developed on the remaining 2 acres. This project primarily intends to encourage the water transport within the city and thereby reduce the stress on the existing public transport and harbour like Gateway of India. Facilities like garden, amphitheatre, mangrove walk, food Plaza, boat ride, gazebo etc. are also on the anvil for this project.
