Content Moderation & Review

The content on the website goes through the entire life-cycle process of Creation, Moderation, Review, Approval, Publishing, Expiry and Archival. Once the content is contributed, it needs to be moderated and approved prior to being published on the portal. If the content is rejected, then it is reverted back to the originator of the content for modification.

Content needs to be contributed by the authorized Content Manager in a consistent fashion to maintain uniformity and to bring in standardization along with associated metadata and keywords. In order to present the content as per the requirement of the viewer, organize the content in categorized manner and to retrieve the relevant content efficiently, it is required to contribute the content to the website through a Content Management System (CMS) which would be web-based having user-friendly interface.

All possible efforts need to be taken to keep the content on the Website current and up-to-date. This Content Review Policy defines the roles and responsibilities of the website content review and the manner in which it needs to be carried out. Review Policies are defined for the diverse content elements.

The Review Policy is based on different types of content elements, its validity and relevance .The entire website content would be reviewed for syntax checks by the Website Team of the Service Provider looking after the portal management.

In order to improve the content and usability of this website, it automatically collects data from the users. This information includes the following:

Ownership of links & tabs is of concerned department that will do periodic uploading, update of the information as well as removal of obsolete contents, once the new portal goes live.

User departments are responsible to review their content on periodic basis or as per the needs. All the obsolete documents need to be replaced with updated & valid documents.
