  1. Collection, analysis, and presentation of numerical data in variety of subject areas.

  2. To benchmark the progress of the city and provide valuable direction for future planning, mainly – in fixing the planning norms for physical and social infrastructure and public utilities.

  3. To present development trends, economic growth, demographic changes, land utilization etc.

  4. To provide the Statistical information and basic data required at Planning Stage from secondary and primary sources.

  5. To provide the statistical information about CIDCO and Navi Mumbai to various departments, other  organizations, academicians, research students etc
