Corporate Park

 

As one of the building blocks of the SMART City by way of job creation, CIDCO endeavors to develop strategically located 140 Ha. Cohesive land parcel in Kharghar as a &Corporate Park&. The project is aimed to be a &Finance Center& for high-end commercial use along with residential use. A home-to- work concept. This project primarily intends to bolster the image of the city besides strengthening the commercial potential of the region. It will establish centralized space for business within Navi Mumbai itself so that the home to work travels can be substantially minimized. The project aspires to have the elite and best of the corporate world, finance sector stalwarts; etc in the Corporate Park. The planning and design proposal is envisaged to facilitate the same. The proposed Corporate Park has proximity to the upcoming NMIA (Navi Mumbai International Airport), social infrastructure such as educational institutes, international schools, hospitals and hotels, high quality recreational spaces such as Central Park, Kharghar Valley Golf Course, etc. Coupled with these, the Corporate Park should offer high quality of life with state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The proposed site for Corporate Park is currently a Greenfield without any specific entry point and has a fairly regular shape. To prepare the layout for the corporate park a two-stage Global Design Competition was conducted.

The first stage involves shortlisting of the applicants and the second stage was, the design competition amongst the shortlisted applicants to get best possible design proposal.

For Stage-2 of the competition, 3 shortlisted firms prepared and presented their proposals before the acclaimed Jury Panel. The Design proposal prepared by M/s Edifice Consultants Pvt. Ltd and consortium has been unanimously selected as a winning entry of the Global Design Competition.
