Kharghar Hill Plateau

The Kharghar Hill Plateau is a part of the Sahyadri hill ranges of the Western Ghats spread at an altitude of about 200 m MSL. The emerald-green, serene and picturesque expanse is located in the heart of Navi Mumbai. About 100 of 150 hectares is in CIDCO's possession and available for development.  

The plateau is proposed to be developed on the basis of private-public-partnership (PPP) with CIDCO having equity participation. It is planned to be developed with the objective to promote tourism in the city that would bring global recognition to Navi Mumbai. The project would be self-sustaining and revenue generating and add value through the theme-based development.
